Small town living aka not much is happening.

So it's been a little less than 2 months since the accident and I'm finally getting back into running. I got an MRI last week that showed no serious damage which was great news and very relieving. Lacrosse season is in full swing and we were in Göttingen yesterday and won 11-6. This weekend we will play at home against both Dortmund and Düsseldorf.  Here are some photos from the last couple games!

Tina is back in America but before she left we had a nice little trip to the Wildpark with Anja and Ian and Aiden. It was a beautiful day and the kids really enjoyed feeding the animals. The Wildpark is around here in Rolandseck and just a big piece of land that they have a bunch of wild animals and you can go and feed them and just walk around and see them. It's a more laid back and open version of a zoo but only animals that normally live here like deer, wild pigs, goats, etc.

Aiden feeding the wild pigs. Such a cutie.

Florian had his first race at the Nürburgring this past weekend and the kids were excited about seeing that. Unfortunately, halfway through his car had technical difficulties and he had to withdraw from the race so that was a bummer but it was cool to see some of it. Here are some photos from that.

Liv and I waited in the car in between laps to stay warm....she was working on her gangsta look

I went to a concert with Mela in Köln last week and that was funny because I didn't understand most of it. I ran into a few girls from the Lacrosse team at the end of the show as well which was random. The show was good though.

Not much else is really going on here. Katy and my dad are coming to visit and they will be here next week so I am very excited about that!
I have been working a lot more since the kids have been coming home after school instead of going to Oma because she had surgery. Nina is also working full time now so she gets home much later.
Anyway, I am so excited to have Katy and Dad here.
It will be weird for them to be here seeing my life because I still think that when I get home I will feel as though it was a long dream.
Maibaum starts this weekend and I am excited to see the festivities for that. Hopefully I'll have some funny stories and photos to post to you all!
